Participatory Governance Policies

Participation is one of the fundamental principles of democracy. The basis of the participatory governance approach is a multi-actor management model. In Büyükçekmece 2050 Vision studies that we plan to realize, it is aimed to develop policies regarding the future of Büyükçekmece by evaluating the demands and suggestions of the residents. The aim of the policies in question is to improve the quality of decisions taken with participation, to bring information together from many different perspectives, and to create joint solutions and support innovative approaches through this information. As so far; from now on, it is aimed to create a democratic and participatory city of the future where “decisions are taken jointly”.
