Public Spaces and Coastal Policies
Public spaces cover all areas where residents communicate with each other, perform various activities and live in urban-community life. These spaces are parks, gardens, roads, squares and courtyards that are open to the use of all members of the society. With the 2050 strategy, the aim is to create more social facilities that can be used equally by all segments of the society, and to create resources for the studies to be done to increase the amount of green space of 106 m2 per person. It is also important for the active use of the entire 25 km coastline of the city by residents and for the development of new common areas.
